Play Station 3 Issues

So i got a ps3 for christmas and my dad got a high def tv, he plugged the PS3 into the High Def and pressed ok to some thing that made the PS3 work ONLY on the hd tv, thats great for him, but now it wont work on any other tv in the house, HOW DO I REVERSE THIS?

See if it has something to do about your tv working on HD, PAL or NSTC... And then change it in your console... At least it works on PS2 (with the PAL and NSTC thingy...)

No, its not, he is trying to fix it and he says we will need to get an hd tv for the living room, my parents tv is the only hd tv, and he cant figure out how to reverse it, i cant do it, i dont have hd on my tv, it doesent send a visual feed to my tv because he configured it to hd tv and diddnt realise it, and now he cant change it back.

alright, you gotta turn it on standby. then, turn it on, and HOLD ON TO THE ON BUTTON until it beeps again, then let go. it should reset the TV settings, so then itll work on any other TV. if it doesnt work, it usually takes another reset, do the same thing.

try taking it to whom it was that bought it so they can take it to the shop if it's new it should be free repair.
or plug it into hd tv and change the settings display setting is the sub catagory.

my friend had a similar problem and it was a region thing, but i dont how he fixed it (or even if he fixed it), have you tried the sony forums?

I had kinda the same problem with my 360, on the Tv/HDIM(or what ever it called) cable that plugs into your tv is that on Tv or HD?

Its actually my ps2 cable because its longer, it worked to......and now its on the hd setting wich i havent tried to remove since you gave me sugestions yet......
