What Kind of Blog do you pay attention to and why?

Personally, I don't read any blogs.

I follow Trekmovie.com it's a fantastic source for all things Sci-Fi. It was originally just the official news site for the 2009 Star Trek movie, but when Star Trek.com went out of business a couple years back, they sort of took over, becoming the official trek site. Now the trek site is back, but trekmovie still gets more news overall

I don't read Blogs, but when ever i find one and decided to read it it tends to be Text.

I tend to listen to the odd one, but i regularly listen to the roosterteeth podcast.

same here, they seem to get their point across better and make more sense in type.

Sports blogs HAVE video and audio, but they're mostly text.

It's kinda weird, in our lifetime, we've seen things that only happen once every few hundred or more years, like multiple things, kinda weird/coincidental perhaps, if you think about it

Well, about 10 years ago there was this planetary alignment thingy that only happens every like 500 years, then hailey's comet or whatever, this eclipse and I'm sure there've been a few other things too

Now that you mention it, just coincidences, the fact that technology in the past ten years has went from large bulky desktop computers to tiny handheld devices, were moving to fast for our own good and maybe theese are signs.

Or maybe they're things that happen only every 500 years and it's been 500 years

Or maybe we could make up a ridiculous conspiracy like y2k

2012 better not happen! I have plans for 2015 so it wouldn't be fair for the world to end.

That is impossible, you cannot change the laws of physics, or can we.

Or we could do what they did in the X Universe and when somethink doesn't make sense, re-write the laws of physics to make sense.

haha wrong! It is not impossible. the theory's state that nothing can travel at the speed of light however traveling faster, mathematically is perfectly possible. Also it may work if you move space rather than move through it but that would involve ripping part of space time and changing its position. there are many more ideas however I can not be bothered stating them unless asked for me to continue.

Hmhm, Wormholes, External Space Drives (Transwarp, Hyperspace, Slipspace), and my favorite: Teleportation

Transportation that uses Quantum non-locality is what I would love the most.

I kinda like the FTL from Avatar, takes them 5 years to get to Pandora which is 4.6 light years away

Then that means there using stl travel, if they were using ftl they should get there quicker than 4.6 years

They travel at 0.6 c IIRC

they travel around 8 trillions kilometers per year... But I prefer parsecs... They're more precise to measure :

Yes lets stick to parsecs, parmins, and light years, but dont confuse them with starwars they are units of distance not time!

I still think using a teleporter based on Quantum non locality would be best.

And I still think that the best thing to do is to find natural wormholes, cause, any other way, we wont make it before the year 5000!

And I think it's all impossible, and not worth your while thinking about it.

The Laws of Physics, need a re-write, they were made when Space travel wasn't even thought of.

I have to agree with DW however I myself am neutral on most science I wish to know everything I can I will not turn away from a idea.

Wow, we just had that same argument during the Star Wars trivia tournament at my friend's house last weekend!

The question was something like "What did Han Solo say when Obi Wan Kenobi asked him how fast the Millennium Falcon was?"

It was answered correctly, but then of course someone... Freakin LUKE!; (who still had the nerve to demand all of us to address him as "Master Luke" while watching the saga) Had to start a debate!

(We watched the entire saga within 2 days. Every episode had a quiz afterward. Oh, and I won the final, of course.)

OMG, I am such a nerd.

Oh the shame!!!

About blogs..

I read blogs a quite a bit actually. Usually professional ones.

Video blogs, I watch the Vlog Brothers on Youtube, and that's about it.
