Re: Protesting
I have no idea what this is about, what are we protesting? Who's protesting? Is there going to be cookies?
Re: Protesting
Against rising tuition fee's, the scrapping of EMA, cutting teachers funding by 80%, and removal of all funding for art courses etc.. Students and teachers across the UK ( we also have the support of socialists, commies, and trade unions, aswell as many parents) yes there shall be cookies

Re: Protesting
Or one saying ''I'm here for the cookies. I don't really care about these worthless, poor lazy tossers, they can go fuck themselves with the money they don't have''. Bet the rest of the crowd would love that.

Are they going to scrap EMA? I didn't realise that. Cutting teacher's funding by 80%? Removal of all funding for art courses???
Yes, as a uni student I know some of this, but are those facts true?
I didn't walk out of my lecture. Partly because as a first year, noone cares if I'm there or not.
@PIGS: Bah humbug!

Re: Protesting
Well it didn't say about the art courses, but that's probably true. And woaow at there being a cut of 80% on university teachers' funds. That's just crazy.

Re: Protesting
Well, the amount of money the government gives to the universities for them to spend on teaching. However, I expect the extra money students will have to pay will cover this. I know our government is stingy, but I do expect them to budget things properly.

Re: Protesting
I presume you mean the people who are now forming this plan? But they spend so much on going to Eton, they couldn't possibly have been expected to pay another extortionate amount of money!
