New router
I now have an new router because the old one broke this one is a Belikn N router anyhow i have the internet again
even if it did cost £56.+

I would assume the "they have better signal strength and stability" might have something to do with it. That's why I have one at least, though mine's a linksys and not a belkan.

it will not increase your internet connection speed. It will increase signal strength and range. You connection speed is determined by you ISP and if its more then 300Mbps then a $50 router is definitely in call. The speed that it will increase is your network speed. This will reduce the amount of time it takes to transfer a file from one computer to another within your network.
