Tom Servo is a robot from the TV show Mystery Science Theatre 3000. He;s made out of various parts (his head being a gumball machine, his torso a monkey barrel etc)

yep, the whole show for the most part happened in a theatre though the intro and a few segments would happen in a different room on the ship
