Concept Drawings

Well, I scanned a few of these in to show the folks at Bridge Commander Central, so I figured Id show them off here too.

The USS Dreamstar is an Advent Class heavy cruiser designed to gracefully intimidate all who threaten the Federation. It was built some time after the Enterprise G was built.


The Spyder Class light cruiser is built for reconnaissance and science missions.


The Corvus Class is built as a "get in, get out" spy ship, built for recon and speed.


And now my personal favorite of all the designs, the Integra Class, a diplomatic/command cruiser capable of planetary landings.

Yeah, I think generally your biggest problem is simply proportions. No you can't expect everyone to be a sketcher, but you have some potential at getting better and a little more clean. Good concepts though, but perhaps I'll take one of those designs and show you. With some lessons you could actually draw mech things pretty well I think

One of the big things when doing any sort of vehicle, no matter how sleek or bulky, is make it look like it can move in the manner intended. Always think of how air will pass over and around the vehicle, even if there is no air in the environment. Remember, path of least resistence!

yeah, I drew it up pretty quick (like in under 5 min.) Speaking of concept pics, my brother is drawing some phenomenal stuff. He's drawn an a morwin and Master Chief and they are spectacular! I'll upload them here tomorrow

@Flashgamer Thanks Maybe with a bit of help from Darkwing I can make the ship for a video game, for I recently downloaded the Unity Game Engine and started messing around with it a bit...and if I gain enough experience, another project might be on the rise...

ooh. cant wait i have a few concepts of my own.. but theyre butt ugly XD
one came up recently that isnt too bad. if i ever get a chance i may post them up here
