Blender and Truespace are free, Bryce is about $60, Animation Master is around $300, Cinema 4D and Lightwave 3D are about $1000, and 3ds Max and Maya are about $3500. Im not sure you can buy any of the priced software through a store, I think you have to buy it online.

EDIT: There's also Anim8tor, which is also free to download.

Heh, why do I keep forgetting K3D? That was the first 3d software I used before I switched over to 3ds max and I keep forgetting it...in fact, I created the concept of Earth-Link Zero when I used K3D...

I've tried to download K3D but everytime i go to instsall it says the file is incomplete or broken (im using windows 7)

I believe you must download the binaries for python and stuff like that...
