The URL

So, we've been at flashtrek.forumotion.co.uk for roughly a month now and new users has dropped to a very very low amount. So, this is basically the situation, do we keep with the URL flashtrek.forumotion.co.uk or do we go back to flashtrek.forumotion.co.uk? either way, we'll be keeping the name Event Horizon. So vote up peeps

Well, if it will give us new users and a better chance at survival, flashtrek.

I suppose people are querying who would join if we had the URL change.
Am I right? Rather not have to use my psychic powers.

I don't get it... Why keep EH? I mean, the title won't change, but we might get new members. I don't see any downsides.

how can you guarantee that we will get new members if we just switch URLs? do ya really think it'll attract new people?

I think we should keep EventHorizan, have you noticed we havent got any Flash Trek Maniacs recently, thats a good thing.

well, considering all of the active members we have now are from when this place was FT:TUF, I think that that is our better option. But it's Thingy's choice, I'm just advocating the change back so that we can y'know, not die

but, how many are going to say, "oh, let's type in event horizon motions forum?" nobody except us. What we want is to show up with the result "Event Horizon" or "Event Horizon forum"

All right, if it means the survival of this forum, I say go back to flashtrek. But if we do go back to flashtrek, we should de-archive the Flashtrek forums, give them their own category and whatnot, but keep them locked.

I would be glad to put my OCD to use on a well-formed FT category.

Actually, I would propose it should be one forum in a 'projects' section. Mercenaries could be another section, and possibly ELZ as another. And someone suggested an online games section?

I was actually thinking something similar about having a projects section, thougn mercs should stay on the main page as it essentially what we got for a main attraction ATM

I'm not botherd either way but if it gets us more members then use flashtrek
