Milking the franchise much, i like one, two was terrible and the third was watchable

The story revolves around Peter having to deal with high school life while having super-powers. The studio has basically admitted they want to try and tap into some of the money making machine from Twilight fans. I'm not entirely sure teenage girls are gonna fall for Spidey though

my opinion of the spidey movies:
1. 4/5, really liked it
2. 3/5, it was ok to watch
3. 3/5, slightly better than 2
4. -9001/5. fuck twilight.

I personally liked the second one the best. It was the most super-hero like of the three movies and had a proper villain and the characters were better flushed out. The first one just felt too fast in that things happened only because they had to so that we could do the next thing (sort of like the Harry Potter movies)

wal mart currently has a massive DVD sale and I saw the Spiderman trilogy boxset for 20 dollars. I wish they had the blu-ray one, actually, all I want is Spiderman 2, I don't care about the others

no, see certain films are meant to be over the top and of the over the top films, POTC3 was definitely one of the best. If you want some small indie film, go to youtube

I loved pirates 3, it's one of the very few series where the sequels don't get worse.

Spiderman is not the same case though. First one was best.

because Sony and Raimi had a minor disagreement, so Sony not being able to compromise would rather try and stumble off in their own useless direction because they can't handle it like grown ups

indeed. Like honestly, I don't know how you can make more money? They said they want to go in this "Twilight" direction so that they can make more money, but I mean come on, each of the Spiderman films are in like the top 20 biggest movies of all time and none of the Twilight films are (to my knowledge). I am quite sure Spidey 4 ain't gonna be what Soney's hopin for because they've basically just said they don't care about people who are Spiderman fans (which there are a LOT of) but would rather the teenage girls group.
