Trinity

Thousands of years ago, a war was fought between the forces of good and evil. Not fought with traditional weapons, but fought with the power of spirits and the metaphysical world. To end the war, the realities were shut, barricaded and in doing so, the participants of the war were also locked away, dividing this world from that of the spirits. Left to protect the secrets, a group known as the Trinity were the only ones given access to the spiritual realm to some degree. Each member of Trinity was given a specific power and when used together, Trinity was a force to be reckoned with. To keep the realities shut out though, Trinity did not have the full power of the spiritual realm.

Now, modern day, only one original member of Trinity remains. With the power of transferring memory, Trinity has stayed alive by adding new people to Trinity when one of them dies and their memory and power gets transferred to the new member.

The story revolves around the discovery that someone else from the war survived and is attempting to unleash the secrets that would tear this world apart. The only thing that stands in the way is Trinity, for if the realities were to be destroyed, then hell would be unleashed on earth.

yeah, I'm sort of taking elements from the Bible and even some Paganism

oh and while on that topic, Terra, do you think you could help me with names, I'm looking for some gothic like names that aren't soo gothic you think like goth or emo or twilight or something. There's 3 main characters, the leader is female and has been alive for thousands of years. The other two members of trinity are one is male and one female. The male is new to Trinity and does not possess the memories of his predecessor. Toa was thinking Dante as his name, I was thinking something like Auro for the leader, but am unsure. There's also a villain who is almost as old as the leader of Trinity and the villain is male

So, to be honest, I'm really un-enthused by this concept. It's of a genre that I'm not particularly in tune with, so I can't imagine that the script will be very good

and that's why you couldn't write. You can't just write about what makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Paganism has deep cultural roots in our society and no, I don't agree with it, but a lot of our behaviour is based on these old pagan beliefs. How many of you cross your fingers for good luck or something? I'm sure there's some little thing you do that could be traced back to paganism. Writing a movie is just exaggerating it and that's essentially what this would be, an exaggeration of certain parts of christianity and paganism

this is essentially what Trinity has to feel like



It's gonna be a challenge because this is an entirely different genre and I've only ever written sci-fi and action based pieces, this one has to be slow, dark, dramatic, mysterious

time to put some pencil to paper methinks and chisel out this concept cause sitting here staring at the screen isn't doing anything and I'm on the clock!

Im going to try to compose a theme today. Im half-decent at dark themes I suppose.

go ahead, but I don't even think I'm interested in this concept

yeah, might be scrapping the trinity idea and doing something a little less original, but a lot more fun and closer to home
