Re: Bye, for a while
UPDATE:
Well, life is going much better after a period of extreme stress. I do expect thing to go up hill from hear, but it is no lie that my shorter than expected absence was necessary. This forum became a commitment, one that i couldn't handle. I will not lie, the stress did create "unnatural" thoughts in my mind, and those thoughts contributed to my leave. But, I am doing much better now my stress level has decreased and i just needed some time away. Although i remained logged in most of the time, i was not actually on. I expect more normal activity to resume at the end of the week, and once i feel really good about my stress and life. I hope to rejoin the RPG.

yes, it is good to hear.
And emotions can be annoying, thats why its useful to turn them off every once in a while.

I never really watched the series, but he wasn't meant to feel them anyway was he? And emotions can be surpressed. Depending on how strong they are, it can be easy or rather dificult.

Hold on there buddy!
Stay sharp, try to understand your issues, and figure out ways of maintaining control. A shrink and some meds will only help a little bit. The rest you have to work out yourself.

Re: Bye, for a while
Same with me. I have this cold or whatever, so the other night I actually try night time meds (I haven't taken those in literally 5 or more years). Because I'm so not used to drugs, pretty much put me to sleep instantly, cleared up my nasal passages pretty quick and I had a hard time waking up in the morning! Last time I do that!
Re: Bye, for a while
You could do that when the next day is Saturday unless you have something coming up.

Good. Yeah, and the drugs always have crappy side effects anyways.Leach54 wrote:I try not to take pills. As much as i can. I find the best way through is natural.
Did you take an antihistamine? I know that benedryl knocks me pretty good if I take a full doze. On a half dose, I just feel kinda fuzzy. (Like a bunny wabbat!)Darkwing wrote:Same with me. Re: Bye, for a while
You mean tablets? If not, why would they flavor pills? It's not like you have to chew them.

it's not spam, it's just off topic. we're now talking about medications now so your post was uncalled for

That was uncalled for. You made a comment that wasn't entirely accurate in a sarcastic and in effect derogatory matter. Now it's becoming spam because we're having this argument. So, nuff said, have an issue, you can always PM me
Re: Bye, for a while
ANYWAYS...if the topic will continue...
One time I took NyQuil and I went loopy for about an hour before falling asleep.

Re: Bye, for a while
I often have a hard time trying to decide what is real an what is not after i wake up. Then, after you give it an hour, i'm fine.

Re: Bye, for a while
Hmmm, that's kinda odd, I think, I don't usually have that disorientation...though I do have events occur in my life of which I'm never entirely sure if they happened or if they were a dream. Maybe all of this is a dream *pinch* nope...too bad
Re: Bye, for a while
Interesting. I had a dream today that I killed my ex-uncle Jimmy with a hammer, and woke up to my dad laughing saying I was sleep walking. But, I wasn't really sleep walking, because then I woke up for real. LOL
I suppose the end part was because I fear sleep walking. The first part... I have no idea. I barely even know my ex-uncle Jimmy.
But that's the closest I've had to that.
Is it only when you first wake up? How long has this been going on?

Re: Bye, for a while
For about 6 months, (or more). It is usually pretty bad cus sometimes i dream its the wrong day and wake op absolutely believing that it is the day i dreamed it was. Another time i dreamt of the afternoon and when i got to the afternoon i thing that some things happed and something didn't. Usually, it goes away soon after it happens but it can be pretty bad sometimes.
