3 1/2 Inch Floppy Disk

OK i have not had to use 3 1/2 inch floppy disks in a long time, but the school doesent allow Compact Disks for some reason, all the drives are fake out drives, and the only workable drive is a 3 /12 Floppy Drive, so does anyone remember how to put information on it? Because all i remember is get information off it and put it in and take it out of the drive......

You put it in the drive and burn stuff to it.

My dad still uses floppy discs (but only as accounts archives)

You use it like a usb stick, just you put it in a different slot.

Its almost impossible to ruin a floppy (Ya, magnets are the one thing that will)

They're quite breakable in the physical sense, though.

i still have a floppy disk drive in my pc though i dont use it

All 4 of my computers have floppy drives, then there is the laptop, that does not have one, but we do have a realy old lap top, dont work anymore but it has one.....Yah i currently have 7 blank Floppy Disks that i need to take to school. diddnt go today, i am waiting out the third blizzard in 2 weeks. Also the floppy disks i have are all 1.44 MB. So. they are called floppy disks because there was a bigger one that actually was floppy. Anyway.....the elementary has Disk Drives, but the laptops in the school, Floppy Drives, and the disk drives were removed, yah guess what computer we use to scan things into the network. a Windoew 2000. And all the laptops say Windows Vista, but have the oldest version of XP on them. ANd you know why they cant afford new stuff. Because they are remodling 3 Elementaries so they can get more students and cloasing the other 4. Also they bought 5 Carts that have 50 Mac Laptops in them each, and they are the old ones, but they payed $900 for each. Yah just buy the $200 ones that are better.
