Beyond Boredom... again
With DoF gone i have nothing to do and i am so bored. I ant to help speed up the process to get NW open but at some point i get annoying and pesky. Then i sit there refreshing the forum over and over waiting for something to happen. Then when nothing does i make a topic like this and it wont get any replies because most people already think (like previously stated) i'm pesky and annoying.

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Well, i do the same thing, on other sites and people think i am pesky and annying, if you think you are being annoying, ask yourself, is this what Evilperson would do, and if it is you know you are being pesky and annoying, also it helps when you are in the same timezone as most other users, I am not, only like 2 other users that are active are on from my timezone. anyway ya i am on and no one else is
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Well DF died, and it was mostly my fault. I have no idea what happened to anyone else. So, if you need to blame anyone on why DF died, blame me. I had to keep going farther with Marro, I didn't know I was pushing him that far until after all of this happened. Well, Ta'u pushed him a little but not as much as I did, I thought Marro had more patience, I guess this might have been one of the days or one of those situations that push him over the edge faster than normal. Or maybe it was just me, I gues swe'll never know unless he tells us, and I know who you are on this site, Marro. Anyways, this is a new start, I guess, and I never held a grudge against you even on DF so don't expect me to do anything here. . . And if you need help coming up with Classess, I have a couple of ideas for that, samething with vehicles. . .
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Nuchiha, Leach is Ta'u (I think) just so you know
Edit*: Also nuchiha cheak the new DoF site, i need your opinion on the custom ship thing, and i was thinking about randomly adding ships and stuff before tech level increases. You know to make it look like reaserchers are making advances before the tech level. Nayway i also added some other things (Sorry for getting off Topic)

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
If leach was Ta'u, I personally had no idea at all. IF you are Ta'u, then you seem like a different person.
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
yes, i am Ta'u. and no, its not your fault. It was deeply set in the first round (ya remember that) and it wasn't only him. I was ready to give it up several times. especially when someone accused me of cheating. I will admit that i find ways around the rules but i dont uber and i dont cheat.

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
One time you did Uber cheat, well, not uber, but over normal. And you did the right thing afterwards, you punished yourself. I think you went overboard, you gave your faction like 150,000 bail or something. I mean, you can buy, like anything with that, but that was the beta round.

Really, what seems different? You also need to know i have done 6 1/2 years of live theater and 6 1/2 years of character working. I am told that i'm good and i take pride in it and carry it into my RPing.

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
You act a bit different, maybe its because your not a administrator here. Being a administrator can often make you more strict, and serious. And its common too, sometimes people are VERY strict, and make the game as strict as, hmm, I can't find a word for that. But you know what I mean right? Anyways, DF was a good game, I had to err, I mean some of us had to mess it up. Marro added to this too, but his was probably the least noticable, and heck, he fixed every mess, maybe we should make DF into a flash game. . . I had a idea like that for a long time, I also have a idea for the battle system, special abilites, characters and so on. . .
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Df could never be a flash game. Not enough character based story then.

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Like nuchiha said, being an admin makes someone more strict and serious, like look at all the sites i run, i am strict on them, and more serious. I think i have been over strict at some times, what do you think nuchiha, give your honest opinion i wont get mad. I need to know so i am not as mean
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
It doesn't have to be a RPG flash game, it could just be a battle flash game, I could come up with a story, but since the game didn't go on, it would be labeled as ' alternate ' because we never had a story. So, I guess I can come up with a story, or we can make it into something else. I'm not good at making Sprites and programming flash, well, I never tried programming flash, I might be good at it I just never tried before. Anyways, if we go with the story, i'll need to get a crew of flash programmers, because I have no idea how to make flash games. I already have a story, if we do the story, we have some characters, if no story, still same characters. The story will be based off what happened at DF already, but i'll make the story of what happens afterwards. We'll all discuss it, Me, Ta'u, Marro, Willice ( Martok ), and Salik Nagala ( MAYBE, depends if I can find him ).
Characters: Lanu Pasiq, Locutus, Martok, Marro Dayre, Nuchiha, Salik Nagala, Ta'u, Vargo Canplo, various other characters ( Made up, and other minor players )

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Google, aye? hmmm, that sounds fun, as for the navy that sounds fun too, being a scientist is fun depending on your field of service. Like deep sea and stuff, i have always liked science....
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Hmm, i am good with flash, as in changing sprites, i think i could change Broken Mirror 1 if i had a source code, i could make it a space aspect. Change some names of factions. But i only have 28 Days on my flash trial. And we need to make a new thred for that. But it would lack a feeling of another person playing, an AI is hardly a substitute for a real person
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Hmm, making a new topic, is kind of dangerous, what if some noob player comes in and interrupts. . . Maybe we need to keep this to Email or something. I have a old Site that never became good, I could edit it and we could use that. . . Except I would change the name, like, Flash games where players can post ideas for flash games. But then thats dangerous too, we should probably use a forum or something on one of my old sites. . .
Re: Beyond Boredom... again

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Well, i'm trying to make my Star Wars RPG succesful, I recently restarted it, so, its not completely done. Its more than playable though, the combat and stuff is mostly done, I just need to implement more stuff before you guys tick each other off XD. Anyways, Space Battles are done, so kill each other in space XD. And the planets are not all added but the more important planets are there. If you need a planet added like now for your character, ask me. So, if you want a link, I can give you one.
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
na, i have the link. (unless you are making a compleatly new one)

Ok then, if your interested join, if its not coming up in your email PM me here or something and i'll activate it manually. My character is a Mandalorian, so if you tick him off, its likely, he'll kill you, I guess thats how all Mandalorians are. . .

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Not, not active? XD, you keep making mistakes. But anyways, we should get back to the topic, of a possible DF Flash game, now it would be kind of fun wouldn't it? I'm kind of seeing the Flash game as a bad idea now, I mean, it would take forever, maybe we should just make a battle game or something. I was kind of thinking of making it into a Sprite movie now, but that would take forever too. What is the Featured Vid? I know its off topic, but can someone answer it please?
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
actually, there really is no topic here.

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
I dont know why it is featured but it is like the video that is the best for that moment i think anyway, we could make a movie for the sprites, it is not that hard, i could do it just with pictures. anyway i did not make a mistake, though it was funny, it is Active but not the most active, did that help?

The featured vid is the opening titles made for Earth Link Zero. We'll be releasing the first Act in a few weeks

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Or, if you have a good enough computer, you could buy mass effect! It's awesome, and it will give you like 10 hours of entertainment. Or even better, mount and blade. I dont know how many hours i've spent on that thing, probably weeks. And it never gets boring.

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Try Brothers in arms, i have spent like 14 hours on it since i got it and i am only on level 7.out of like 12 though. Long levels, i am good at games like that but not when i have the level set to authentic.
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
i played mass effect to at my friends house a few days ago, man its awesome, only thing i got annoyed at is when you switch weapons and use special abilities

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
I've never played Mass Effect, when KOTOR came out, I played it a lot, but not that much though. KOTOR II, was worser than the first. I liked the first one better, the first one got more awards too. I wish I could get a chance at playing it, it sounds epic.
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
kotor II failed cause lucas arts never gave obsidian enough time to finish, they could have done a lot with the new features and stuff, but LA was too impatient (damn them), theres a group called team-gizka thats trying to fix all the unfinished content on Kotor II, and someone restored M4-78 for the game

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Yeah, lets give Team - Gizka our support! It would've been much better if it hasn't been rushed! KOTOR III was canceled due to financial issues, and my theory is that they were being rushed even harder. They could've done the game even with the financial issues, I mean, a lot of games have done that. But instead they made KOTOR Online, which sounds epic. But I see something odd, KOTOR III would be cheaper than the Online one, so how could they afford funding KOTOR Online, but not afford KOTOR III? This seems strange. . .
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Well, SP RPG's and MMORPG's are different in many ways. The latter is more addictive and brings in much more money if it is succesful. I think they might consider making KOTOR3 after SWTOR online considering the huge succes they've had with mass effect 1 and 2.

Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Well, yeah, I would probably make SWTOR first, it would bring in a lot of money. I mean, look at games like Runescape, they make billions of dollars, or pounds, or what ever they use. Probably pounds or Dollars. They're in England so I don't know, maybe its Euros, gah, I have no idea. They should make KOTOR 3 once they get back into the stable zone, and they are right now. Maybe they're making it as we speak. . . A Star Wars Republic Commando 2 would sound good too. . .
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Oh, i have a game on the Xbox, it is starwars Republic Commando i think, it has trandosian, and wookies, and all that, i havent beaten it, it has Sev in it and i do pritty well at it.........
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
I like Star Wars Commando, my favorite, dang, its hard, but I like the quad you play in, oh, it was called Delta. My favorite was, gah, hard to choose again, either Boss, Fixer, Sev, or Scorch. Maybe Sev, I can't choose personally. It would be cool if they made a Star Wars Republic Commando 2.
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
Yes, but i only made it to the part were you have to save the Ammo Supply things on Kasheek from blowing up......and that was recient, ever play Brothers in Arms road to hill 30? it is a really good game
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
I never played that, I haven't played Republic Commando since forever. I heard Brothers in Arms was a good game, maybe I should play it sometime. . .
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
It is reallly good, you command a team of troops, later it become 2 teams and sometimes a team and a tank, if you have xbox, and get the game, and have xbox live, and by some merical i get xbox live i would need t play it with you, but also Republic commandos, best game of its type, though brothers in arms gives it a run for its money, also if you get all your men killed, they come back in the next mission, so wierd, anyway sometimes its like, we reloaded your game, but healed everyone....
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
They don't die, its impossible to die. You go into a critical condition, but someone else, or you, have to heal them with Bacta. I don't have Xbox live, and I don't think i'll be getting it anytime soon. . . I wonder why Xbox live costs money? I mean, Microsoft makes enough money, actually more than enough. I use my PS3, its better in every way. Its faster, better graphics, it makes less noise, its like a miniature super computer, its like the best HD converter out there, it can play Blu - ray, Super Audio and HD. But the games are more expensive though, thats a downfall, but the prices are worth it.
Re: Beyond Boredom... again
capitalism, definition- greed.
The more money they can make be stealing it from people who live in their basement, the more they'll do it. It's easy money, and in a corporations eyes, there's no such thing as too much money, and no cost to great to get it, well, i mean realistically, not like, they'd go murder someone, though things like that probably indirectly
