The background on the post box as well as the address bar is a bright blue, and the text is white. I can barely make it out. (My school blocks almost all pictures too, so that may be a factor...)

ohhhhh, hmmm, hold on, i might be able to make it a bit better for you, everyone else won't notice it, but where you can't get pics, you will. I don't get what's with everyone's school blocking pics, our blocking service only blocked whole sites and things with keywords and content searches

This is what I meant. In my school, the background of every post alternates color between bright blue and black. The background of the site itself however is fine.

bright blue huh? Hmmm, what browser do you use? Cause i noticed the code for the rounded, semi transparent typing boxes don't work on the FF on the windows PC (could be FF needs an update)

I have to use IE at the school, thats where the bright blue post background happens. Im using Firefox on the home computer, and the rounded boxes look fine here.

ok, i'll add more to the code then, I'll see about getting IE to understand alpha transparency, also, if your school uses any IE below IE 7, the transparency thing won't work at all regardless of what I do

ok, so what I've done is this, for IE users, everything is a solid color, you should be able to read the text. Unfortunately, IE is the one browser that won't recognise CSS3 (Which is the code for the design scheme of the forum) and part of CSS3 is transparencies. The only way IE understands transparencies, is if I put in a code which makes everything transparent, including text, picks, buttons, everything. So unfortunately IE users have to look at a sucky design, but hey, it's incentive to get FF, or Chrome or anything else!

It does look nice, I have to say. And also, rounded buttons do appear on FF

I like the alternating black and ?dark blue? anyway. I have IE, Firefox, and Safari installed. I usually use IE though so now I know what the problem was. Maybe I'll switch to FF just so I can see what it looks like.

Ah, now the transparencies are in. Looks nice. Still, I'm going to keep using IE just because I'm used to it more.

What's so bad about IE?

viruses, crashing, adware, speed, non conformity to the rest of the net (for example, doesn't recognize CSS3 yet all other browsers do) general incompatibility with the internet as a whole, do I need to continue?

It doest folow any of the set standards in web browsing. its the biggest security weakness in your computer right now and its a slow web browser. (compared to others)

there was a news article somewhere about how the IE had a serious security risk, on the Firefox is better

hackers in china used it to attack google. there is more to the story but i dont want to get into detail. its 12:43 am here

I have a really old version of Internet Explorer, but i use Necscape now just because that is what i have all my Vires protection stuff on.
