Alternatives for Photoshop?

Guys, can you please give me suggestions on alternatives for Photoshop?

My first choice was warez but last time I downloaded PS pirate-ly, my system crashed and I had to reformat.

paint.net is half decent

I also recommend paint.net, and if you figure out how to use gimp that's good too.

Adobe Elements is supposed to be free.

adobe Or macromedia fireworks is alright

ugh, i quite dislike Gimp, i only use it cause it's like the only free graphics app which works on a mac

that one will be a little harder. Good free vid editing software is harder to find (though not saying it's impossible)

yeah, there is, there's a trial of premiere elements for windows if you want to go for a lighter version the the full blown Premiere Pro

Hell, the trial version of Pro is 1GB+ and my home PC's net subscription just ended last week. Now I'm relying on netcafes and i have a 1GB flash disk. ~_~
