My birthday present.
I got my present early this year! Plus for this kind of present the possibilities are endless. Infinite enjoyment!
Can you guess what it is?
Sadly I can't play it till probably monday as you see i'm in Bristol ...packing up my Nana's house to get it ready to sell...deaths can bite in more ways than one. At least the neighbor is kind enough to share internet.

Re: My birthday present.
Usually the Harddrive... although I've a friend which only problem he had with his HP was the battery...
But most people with a 2 year old HP face Harddrive problems... and I've a set of friends who say that...
Better way is too get Linux... It's more stabble with harddrives...
read this btw:
http://linux.oneandoneis2.org/LNW.htm
This explains if YOU really want to change to Linux... not trying to convince you, but to see if YOU really want to change to that...

Re: My birthday present.
Nice PC.
Must have cost a lot.
HPs aren't that bad if they dont break. Alienware are the best though.

Re: My birthday present.
but friggin expensive. also, quad core isn't as good as everyone believes, for instance, that 3 GHZ is the total pek processing speed when all cores are in use. most likely you will have slowed down processing depending on what you're doing. so far, in my opinion the dual core is the best processing system
Re: My birthday present.
Yeah, you don't generally need 4. Just a waste of time and money.
