Supercomputer?

Well...OK maybe not a supercomputer, but it is a heck of a lot faster than anything I've ever used.

Give me the specs. I want to know how many times faster it is than my computer ( any computer is better than mine btw)

Here's the one for my laptop, in case you want to know.

-Dell Inspiron 1545
-Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2.1 GHZ processing power and 2mb cache
-4gb RAM
-250gb hard drive
-Windows Vista (NO!!!)

well, here's my stats, and though they seem somewhat low, you have to remeber thtat mac runs on roughly half of what windows runs on

2.13 GHZ Intel Processor
2 GB RAm
160(i think) GB HDD
um, anything else i need to put, the graphics card is Nvidia, but i don't know what model off the top of my head

Surprisingly, only around $500. The sound card is pretty bad but the video card is good enough for the computer to be able to play Oblivion on default settings without lag.

My computer is 11 years old, I believe.

I have XP, thank you very much! It has the system requirements. It was 95 to start with, and has progressed.

Not exactly. Yes, Vista was a failure, but XP turned out pretty good.

I'm actually looking forward to windows 7.

Note: In Windows 7, users will be able to run a virtual session of windows xp

which ever system you have is one you like because you no how to use it. any thing new just scares people. kinda why vista failed

vista failed because microsoft made it totally crappy. everyone knows that.

i haver vista its not bad its just not good and its failure can justified by the fact microsoft are rushing out 7 which is just a rebranding of vista with some touch screen bits

microsoft shouldnt rush it out, thats how many of theyre OS's failed. they need to make sure it is completely the way they want it. unless all they care about is people paying for it. which is probably true. wait, who am i argueing with again? oh, forget it.

Yep, i'm not touching it. Or at least not till there's a review out. Microsoft has a histroy of being failtastic. Also, the bastards arent giving me any reduced price because i'm not a freaking american! Damn idiots!

so, if the in thing was to let's be dramatic here and say, i don't know. let's say suicide was the in thing. essentially you're saying run with pack even though it's not good? and using apple or linux doesn't make you an outcast. i'll tell you what windows makes you, cheap and not so intelligent.

im not insulting people who use osx or any aple operating system im and im not saying everyone should use windows what i was trying to put across was that you have to be litterate in windows otherwise you wont get anywhere.

side note about mac, you have to doanload different programs to everyone else usually costing more you have to wait about another month for games to come out for it but if you like good for you

one, i don't play games, two, most of the software i had was already engineered for both mac and Pc, three, I'm extremely litterate in windows, which makes it even more suckier

Well... I have 1 TB hard drive? but ram still sucks... i've only got 2 GB RAM... I should install a new graphics card and some RAM.
