Well, I'll throw you all a tiny bone as to what's comin up in the game, so here is the new BM3 theme music

http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/7/30/2026414/Fend%20For%20Yourself.mp3

The song is entitled "Fend for Yourself" and it was composed by Jason Bradley Livesay and is on the free play music website

also, the intro (where this music takes place) will no longer have the scrolling text but will be somewhat different in style for an intro to a BM game

Are you actually making hitboxes in the game? From that picture, it looks like the Klingons destroyed the Ambassador's warp nacelle.

Hmmm...

Btw... is there any mean of making firing arc's? It would be cool to make them... instead of just firing, we should have to maneuver the ship and fire in time... much more skill needed, that way...

i tried that once with scorching and things, the problem i ran into mostly was file size. the game becomes enormous if you have advanced features like that, though i'm thinking about making different quality releases for the final game. but maybe some of the more advanced features can be implemented in the campaign mode. it will all depend on what flash and my knowledge of flash is limited in doing

well to reduce the size i suggest reducing the bit rate to 44 kbps to reduce the size of the game because no one likes a flash game whit big sizes (ex.:sonny 2)

not uploaded yet. like i said, middle of august. people seem to have a problem reading my posts. a little reading and forethought will take you a long way in life and help to not get forum founders annoyed at you (now is the good time for a very menacing stare and perhaps a little twitching of the left eye)

is it possibe raffitz you could zip a folder with the psd files, i'd like to have a copy on my laptop if you don't mind.

and someone said about the new previews looking better then the teaser, well, that's cause the teaser is way way old and much has changed, including the look of the game. btw, i've also started writing the final story, though I will not divulge this story until the game is released.

well to come back to a older post , i din`t say to reduce the quality , i just said to reduce the bit rate because most of the time songs come whit a big bit rate , and reducing it a little dramatically reduces the size , and about compressing the flash files , for my game ( aka Gate War) i use 60 and the difference is very small in terms of quality

well lets say you made the new version ex: 1.2
and you have
HiQ:1.2
MidQ:1.2
and lowQ 1.1 , i mean updating all , you can do a quality button if you think at low cpu computers but there is no other point in doing tree quality versions ( except max 30-40% size reduction )

well depends the button only reduces the cpu usage of the flash movie and the quality of it , but there is no reduction to size or anything , try to see if it does make a difference on a pc whit a cpu of 1.5 or less sometimes even on bigger cpu
