Which we can't do right now. Obama wouldn't let us, though it may actually be a good thing in this case, given that China basically owns all of our debt. The only question here is if China would give the go-ahead.

Yeah, obama's politics are more about using violence as a last resort, which i think is better than the republicans 'LEEEEEROOOY JENKIIIIINSSSS!'' approach to everything they face.

Still, I do question his integrity while the media keeps smiling and praising him for being such a good president. He still hasn't gotten rid of Guantanamo and he's keeping the Patriot Act. He's also trying to dismantle free speech over the internet.

But that's neither here nor there. I agree that it would be silly to attack North Korea right now and make us look even worse in the eyes of the rest of the world than we already are.

He cant just snap his fingers and make guantanamo disapear, he's probably working on it. And how is he dismantling free speech on the internet?

On the Guantanamo issue, it's more difficult than you think. It's a matter between national security (with methods that have been proven to be cruel, unusual, and ineffective overall) and preserving human rights. Given, the decision seems clear here. But the backlash of just "releasing possible threats and leaving our country vulnerable" is going to make certain people unhappy. Personally, even though I'm a moderate conservative, I do want to get rid of Guantanamo.

Don't get me wrong, his foreign policy is excellent. He made Pakistan take action against terrorists while Bush failed at every turn and generally made them hate us more. I'm just not agreeing with his "say one thing, do another" mentality.

So? What's the problem with that? Free speech is the ability to say whatever you want, you'll still be able to say whatever you want, they'll actually probably help catch child pornography and other internet crimes while they're at it. I mean, the internet is public enough as it is, anyone can go almost anywhere, so what's the difference if it's a cop that sees you or a random non coppish person? True, but I just don't like the idea of the government getting into affairs where they shouldn't. The internet? The government shouldn't go anywhere near the internet in terms of monitoring and censoring. That's for communist states like North Korea and China.

I dont think they'll be censoring much. Just keeping track of crimes and trying to stop them. It's not like they'll be jumping around the internet removing anti USA stuff and everything they think is distateful, just the illegal stuff. It's actually good someone's finally done something like this, child pornography as an example has been a major problem and it was hard enough fighting it before.

Yeah, which is good. If that kid was born, and the mother wanted an abortion but couldnt get it, he wouldnt get a good childhood. He'd either be with his mother who probably still wants her old life style back and doesnt care about him or she'd get rid of him. Plus it's not really murder, something has to be sentient and self aware to be murdered.


But no, hell no. They dont want north korea to have nukes, when they realised that north korea wasnt faking and actually is developing nukes (the hiroshima class test), they lost alot of chinese and russian support. Communists or not, if they sent a nuke to a western country or any western allies, china would get the blame, lose all relations with the west (maybe even start a war when NATO is done crushing north korea) and lose an enormous part of their income.

Again, this extreme right-wing fascist is against abortion with the exceptions. Besides, that's what adoption is for.

1. The US will never attack North Korea unless North Korea attacks the US physically.

The US is in no condition to enter another war front. Money is bad, and the people over here are tired of war.
