So Where did you Get your Screennames from?
Well with everything that's been going on lately, I think this forum needs a bit of causality instead of fighting and pleading. So I'm going to go ahead and start a simple topic and ask, where did you all get your screen names from? For example, I got my screen name from playing with Bionicle for 6 years of my life.
Re: So Where did you Get your Screennames from?
I got my screen name like this:
My real name is Rafael, so, my screen name was in most of the sites raffe or r@ffe...
When I created my YouTube account, raffe, r@ffe & others similar were already taken, so I had to come out with something original, and raffitz came to life... When I registered this forum, I used raffitz, and raffitz it is...

I came up with my other screen name (which is thedarkarcon47 on the gathering forums and my forum) simply by playing StarCraft.

Re: So Where did you Get your Screennames from?
Well if you know anything about me you should know it comes from Halo. I don't play the game very often anymore but the name has just stuck. I first created it when I created my first email account with comcast. So Killerflood is my first username ever and it's been by my side since then.

My screename is hebrew. No particular reason why I chose hebrew, just that was the first language to pop up.

Re: So Where did you Get your Screennames from?
Well... My name is João Pedro Borrego, so here you got the JPB... 18 was an old class number I had... I first used it to sign in on BF2 multiplayer... after that I always used that nickname... ALWAYS!
Re: So Where did you Get your Screennames from?
Hm. Toa Kaita was the very first fictional character I created, as I said, after playing with Bionicle for a while my imagination just seemed to flourish, and now I have a whole saga written for the hero.
Re: So Where did you Get your Screennames from?
well my main character in my book is Captain Dave Terra, but Admiral is kind of flashy
Dave is my friend name so I figured "what the heck" and Terra means earth as I found out a few years ago. so, Admiral Dave Terra of The USS Wildfire is born

Huh, so that could have been a screenname coincidence.
And yeah, i made raffitz a mod in training as we need a new staff member, as DW actually did most of the work.

Re: So Where did you Get your Screennames from?
i would not join this forum until i thought of a halfway decent user name. The one thing i can't stand is picking a username that i will use for a long time until the point where it might seem childish or does not reflect me. It couldn't have numbers in it because it would look too online ish or mmorpg like. So what i did is when ever i had nothing to do i would just brain storm of a name and i did that for a while and i came up with Stryker. Striker definitely would be less preferable since the y adds character to the name.

Re: So Where did you Get your Screennames from?
I can't seem to remember how I came up with my username.
I think I started using the name "Darkjedi" when I was, 11?
Yeah, that's right! I was playing halo, and that was always my name.

Sadly, my screename came from my SN on Maple Story (bleh.) I think it came from me just improvising from "alkaline batteries"...

Mine Came from my Nickname really. I'm usually called either Terra or Nova depending on my hair color XD. Terra came from when I had green highlights and Nova when my hair was died completely fire-bomb red.

Re: So Where did you Get your Screennames from?
hm, interesting. mine comes from a game i used to play with my brother on graph paper, where we had ships and fleets and things and moved them around and attacked, and my ship name was the Darkwing, which I then turned into a class of vessel, then turned into my username at VX Flash and have kept it on every forum so far (except parallel paradoxes)
Re: So Where did you Get your Screennames from?
or Nova could have come from my tendency to explode like a Supernova at people that were total jerks.

Re: So Where did you Get your Screennames from?
Roger Smith originally came from an anime series I liked when i was younger, Big O. It was a quasi-intellectual Transformers-derivative. As I matured I realized it was also the name of the infamous General Motors CEO who Michael Moore once made an inflammatory movie about. I thought the coincidence was notable and I've kept the pseudonym since.

OK, I don't know what FUBAR is, but based on ALBAR's meaning, I suppose FUBAR stands for Reproductively Useless Beyond All Reason...
