because the flash project is at a low resolution at the moment, giving things this grainy borg cube like texture

Ah.Well it could increase weapon power, at the cost of something.And hull could be increased, as the ship would essentially enter lockdown, increasing hull integrity.

hm, possibly, maybe that's when it'll engage targeting mode too, and perhaps even automatic firing on enemy vessels or something

well, i'm also going to try and fix that too, so that if you're even in ordinary combat, you can't attack friendlies/neutrals with overriding the firing control

Yeah, generally shooting the only friends you have when outnumbered is a bad idea.

Yes, definitely. I've always wanted some way to target only one group or race of ships at a time, so I don't end up firing on a race that I'm trying not to get on the wrong side of.
