Rumor: Apple eyeing EA!

YESSSSSSSSSS!!! FINALLY! There's a rumor going around that Apple is considering taking over EA, which has so far only been making (mostly crappy) windows only games. If apple takes EA, it could mean there will be ALOT more mac friendly games out there and the end of the evil game empire that has been producing crappy identical series designed for the brain dead hordes of teens that have been buying them. This could also mean the death of the DRM, something EA has been using excessively for years now. But that's not all... future games could become alot less windows friendly, giving windows users who only use it for the game compatability (like me) a good reason to buy a mac.

Now excuse me, i'm going to prepare a city wide party to celebrate the death of EA

Like i said, it's only a rumor. And it came from an investor, so it's going to stay a rumor till someone at apple confirms it.

... A lot of people use windows, and if that happens I'm going to have to kill Apple.

wait, you mean you'd kill apple for ea? i mean, they're the villains of the game industry, the ones that keep clotting up the game market with cloned sequels and DRM drowned games? the frankenstein/dracula hybrid of the gaming market?

Every so often they actually come out with something good. Unless Apple shows me they can do better, I'm going to kill them.

Yeah, but all their games have been developed by game developers they infested / assimilated in a borg and evil way. (by the way, they probably wont make them less windows friendly, but more mac friendly and make the mac more game friendly)

Doesnt anyone remember those 20 other games they screwed up? or all the games that were going to be great but were hurried by EA and ended up filled with bugs and only half the stuff they were supposed to have? a company that lets the developers take their time will produce games that are one hell of alot better than EA's best games.

I will argue with you until Apple proves otherwise. I can name a few good games that I've played.

Well at least apple can improve their website, theirs sugs.it has more bugs then XP.

I think apple can do a whole bunch of good stuff for EA, they seem to know what the people want. But they're probably not going to buy EA anyways, it's just not their style. They develop their things by themselves, they'll probably make something like Igame or something like that. But it's not if they get into the games market, but when. It's the only way they can go.

well, i like Apple, and though i'm not really a gamer, it's good to see something become a broader market. and for all you windows lovers out there like Terra who's crying on the indside right now.... YOU SUCK!!! Apple is far superior to Windows!!!

all i can say is that the EA and Dice game of battlefield 1942 and bf 2 are pretty good. Espcially 1942 although its however many years old i still like to play it online.

speaking of battlefields this is turning into a battle field, i don't really care there'll always be good games and bad games, some of the worst games EA has made
include the Harry Potter series, i don't have much experience with apple but it seems alright, the only reason windows is still popular is because great games have been made for it...
like MNIM said it would be better if they made more games linux but for now we gotta use WINE to emulate them (no linux does not drink)

The only think an apple is good for is a door stop (ill post a pic later.)
