Re: ain't this wierd?
one step closer to virtual reality, now they only have to get graphics that look like they're real and taste.

Re: ain't this wierd?
ah yes, if they incorporated that into wii games like force unleashed and twilight princess that would be almost like virtual reality

no, i mean graphics that look REAL, you know, graphics with minimal difference from real life. and maybe add some non deadly pain or something as an option

Re: ain't this wierd?
as one book that i read (sci fi) that had virtual reality it could be a numbing-tingling feeling in the part of the body that received injury

Re: ain't this wierd?
As long as they don't encorporate proper touch and smell, VR should be fine.

i think it will be more personal... you know, like a suit for touch, smell and so on. It could be gold for the military, you could experience a battlefield without dying, but still get all the experience you'd get from being there in reality. Extreme pain without permanent consequences would be good for that too. You know, so you dont do a frontal attack on a main battle tank with an assault rifle thinking you're going to respawn after getting blown to pieces

sad to hear that
the simulation with taste, pain etc. is a very nice idea, gaining exp while not dying, now thats a golden ticket
