The Battle of Sepheous 12

Personal log; space date 1024.9 Today marks the one year anniversary of The Battle of Sepheous 12. When my world was changed. I still have nightmares about that time. Here follows my account of the battle.

“The Valence Class is a bold new direction of starship design.”said Eeroln Metarri, the acting president of the Enish Council. “It's the first destroyer equipped with Antimatter beam cannons, advanced generation 12 Warpspace drives, and our new graviton signature represent clocking device. She is a ship, witch we will finally win the war with the Na Enisha, because it is equipped with the new agent red torpedo.”
I listened with a little skepticism, after all the war had bin going on for well over 12,000 years now and no end was in sight. Suddenly the alarm klaxon went of and the red alert lights started flashing.
“Detecting incoming jump signatures. 500 enemy ships approaching.” the voice over the PA system announced to the startled crowd of officers, who started running towards the transport pads to return to their ships.
During the hubbub, President Eeroln took me aside and said “Christopher, take The Valence, hide it, don't let the enemy find it. I had your command Crystal retrieved from your fighter. You are now a Fleet Admiral. Go.”
I ran to a transporter pad and said “Valence bridge.” and was transported to that location. I didn't have time to activate the computer, so I ran to the helm and engaged the engines. I pushed them to full and the ship rocketed out of the space dock. In the distance, I saw a huge battle. I barely had time to register the few hits on my unshielded ship, before I activated the Warpspace drive for a unplotted jump.
