God is briliant!
as you know I just got back from easter camp along with 4000 people.
anyway it is a cristian camp so there was some religous stuff. but on camp I saw probibly 100 people give there lives to god and many of my friends stand up and surrender again. I my self had goten on my knees and begged for god to use me.
haha well you know god he never backs down from a offer like that he used me 10mins after I asked him to by doing as he asked and talked to a girl that looked down and loanly. he also started to fix things in my life by giving me a chnace to finaly end something that was just left up in the air. last night one of my closest friends surrendered entirely to god after talking to me then I talked to another one of my friends and god spoke to him through what I said.
this is going to be awesome if things keep happening like this.
yes this is just me talking about what happened while I was gone but also I love hearing storys of what god has done through and for people.

Right... GET A SHRINK. God doesnt do that stuff, he doesnt do anything on earth, or anywhere for that matter. If he really loved us and was ready to help us THAT much, earth would be like heaven.

I've had.. many a christian believer walk up to me and call me a heathen for being Wiccan. I've come so close to smacking them upside their heads... And so ends my little rant.

Smacking them?! that's horrible! they might survive! *hands you a combat knife* next time, gut them. You can almost be sure they'll die in the most painful way possible if you do it right!

do you know how stupid you are for believeing in that BS? Legs dont grow by themselves, or at least not till we've done some more resarch on it. and those guys you saw healed, they were just pretending. And you sound like you've been blinded by that cra*

Re: God is briliant!
well to tell the truth I dont see why. but if you wish to hold a dislike against me for the fact that I am not afraid to proclaim the works of my lord in every area of my life then so be it.
@thingy I am one of those people that search for every possible explination before looking to god. I found none there is no way what I saw could have been faked. blow it off if you wish that is not my problim.

Re: God is briliant!
pretending to be blind isnt that hard, you just close your eyes and pretend you cant see anything then open them when the guy smacks you in the head and says something illogical. And sometimes illusionists look like they're doing real magic, but they're not. It's the same thing. Now go get a shrink before you join a cult or something

Re: God is briliant!
I don't hate Christians for what they believe.. just that if they try to force me to see their way, they are going to be sadly in need of a new arm.. or leg.. whichever I get my hands on first.

Re: God is briliant!
your welcome anyway if god doesn't push it on you why should I.
all I would do is give you evidence and be a example no more than that is needed. if you ask I will seek the answer that is how I go about bringing people to god. I try to "convert" them

Re: God is briliant!
I hate people who hate groups of people." Eg. I hate chrisitans, athiests, motorists, politicans, pedestrians." I hate only specific people and even then only when i am pretty sure i know them. I have to say more, but there is a wicked thunderstorm right now.

Read this:
This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering that I have seen...
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
'I don't believe that God exists.'
'Why do you say that?' asked the customer. 'Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.'
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
'You know what? Barbers do not exist.'
'How can you say that?' asked the surprised barber.
'I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!'
'No!' the customer exclaimed. 'Barbers don't exist because
if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.'
'Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me.'
'Exactly!' affirmed the customer. 'That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world.'
That might explain better.
Re: God is briliant!
And everyone is talking about hate. That makes me sad . You shouldn't hate people... although you can dislike them. But that is different.

He is right. You guys started to slam him for saying something about God. He was just sharing something. And sadly, a lot of Christianity is defined by these people who say they are Christians but act totally against it.
Re: God is briliant!
Sad to say I don't even know what I am...
I'm part athiest because I sometimes don't believe God exists because of the doubt that clouds my faith.
While sometimes I'm partially christian because I believe in God and Jesus. I'm also split between wiether Jesus was God's actual son or was just made that way by humanity's glorifying ways. I hope I tend to view the Bible as a guideline not as THE book. The Bible still was created by man and man is not perfect and is nowhere near perfect.
Just like man created the bible, man may have created the Quran (I hope I spelled that correctly...) and any other religious texts. So if man is corrupt, the things they create tend to be corrupt too...
I got to find something hold on...
EDIT: AH Here we go!!

thank you. I know I have acted "un-Christian" at points in my life and I still said I was Cristian although that is different now I am working to be more like Jesus was.
at easter camp there was a song that I sang as loud as I could because it was that kinda song and because it said this "to live is Christ to die is gain" this is something I am trying to live by now. I want to take up my cross but I dont know if I will. I my self am not of great faith but I am working on it.
Re: God is briliant!
I commend Jtull for being optimism despite his apparent issues in his life now.
Though I don't really understand the Christian hate here. Sure, you have those holier-than-thou Fundies that try to convert your heathen soul every other minute, but aren't you being just as bad as those fundamentalists are by generalizing every single Christian as a sanctimonious hypocrite?
I can safely call myself a Christian, yet I don't really follow traditional dogma. I'm pretty much between non-Christian society and church dogma, so I've heard arguments on both extremes and they both are equally stupid. Stop propagating hate.

^_^ I don't get why everyone sees Christians as bad.. It's like the Terrorist attacks, and the next thing we know, anyone from the middle east is hated... Humans just look for someone to blame for all their problems.

well said alka. I my self am just working on advancing my charictor and to lead by example sure words do allot but actions speak louder than words. my prime goal at the moment is to be humble and to gain greater integrity and honor.

The people who go around trying to force religion are probably the Jehovah's Witness. They even try to have my family join, and we are already Christians! And I know how people view Wiccans as evil, but I know a few and they are normal people.
