Spring is beautiful, no?
I hope you all enjoyed your Spring Break/ Easter/ Passover!

Wow, that's a lot of physics classes.
And meh to the all-but-dead language that is only useful for Catholics.

Re: Spring Break
Odi et amo
Yup, AP Latin is hard this year, since this year is a poetry year (Catullus/Ovid). I took Latin because it was the only interesting language offered at my middle school. Man, I should have switched over to Chinese.
AP physics is getting harder with E/M. It is no longer intuitive! Well, at least I made Semifinals for USAPhO.

Ovid and Catullus aren't the worst (then again, not the best). Have you done the Iliad?
But I forgot. You probably have a more sane person teaching you.

Re: Spring Break
Iliad is not included in the Latin syllabus. It is more of a Greek thing than Latin. We studied the Illiad in English, that is about it.
In Latin, we are going to study Vergil's Aeneid next year.

Re: Spring Break
Unlucky, Aeneid isn't very sane.
We did the Iliad in Classics, sorry about that.

Oh no! Spring break is almost over, and I still haven't started physics yet. There goes my grade.

You know, I didn't mention that out of randomness.ZhuGeLiang wrote:On the subject of reproduction, apparently there has been a large increase in egg/ovum donations to fertility clinics and research laboratories. Because of the recession, some people are really desperate for cash.
The average payment is 5 grand per egg.
The easter bunny, and the eggs have nothing to do with Jesus. XD
Those parts of the holiday originate from a pagan Roman festival dedicated to honouring fertility.

Re: Spring Break
your narrowminded ignorantly and blatantly WRONG statement there offends me. It's celtic/germanic, not roman.Darkjedi wrote:You know, I didn't mention that out of randomness.ZhuGeLiang wrote:On the subject of reproduction, apparently there has been a large increase in egg/ovum donations to fertility clinics and research laboratories.
