What would you do?

It goes like this, i say a situation and you say what you would do in that situation. here's an example

You see a hurt dog on one side of the road but he's surrounded by wovles. What do you do?

1. Try to scare away the wolves

2. drive away and ignore them

3.other


This was inspired by Jtull's thread in general chat, ''would you do this?''

And my reply:

3: grab the full-size broom in the car, unscrew the metal pole from the broom part, whack the wolves away, then get the dog into your car.

I would pull over and watch. Wolves wouldn't attack a human without provocation, and if you don't do anything they probably won't hurt you. If they tried to hurt the dog, I would probably honk my horn and restart the engine to simulate an enemy. Then, I would run away. In my car.

@Meganew, you would be screwed. Wolves would own you. They aren't stupid! You're reflexes probably aren't fast enough to save the dog and yourself. They would work in unison, take you out while you're frightened out of your mind. And as much as I hate to say it, your life is more valuable than the dog's life. You have much more to contribute, unless you are a resource waster and a polluter. Also, in real life, I bet you wouldn't even try to stop them.

That's a lie!

But then again, my first one was stupid, so...

3: Get out your Desert Eagle and own the wolves.

you dont need licenses for swords i think... they sell real sharpened metal swords in stockholm for a thousand kronor or so each. I just have to go get one sometime... To put on the wall...yeah...only put it on the wall.... MUAHAHAHHAAHAHA!! err, i mean, yeah, the wall...

Alright, enough OT. New dilemma


You're part of a NATO strike team in afghanistan, your task is to free 2 prisoners( both are your friends) held in a taliban cave nearby. You and your team clear out the area around it and get a few prisoners but you're only 3 and 2 need to stay outside to guard the prisoners. You go into the cave and find the prisoners but a taliban slits their throats with his knife when he sees you (which is a violation against humanitarian laws). You could kill him without anyone noticing and say he attacked you with the knife (even if he just surrendered). What do you do?

1. Take revenge and kill him

2.Capture him

3.Other

Kill him, because he's probably going to try and stick me with the knife next.

He surrendered and didnt have any way of killing you.

3. Knock him out with the butt of my gun so he won't be a threat, then get something to staunch the bleeding and try to remember basic (medical) training while calling my two squad mates to call for a medic and back up.

2: Capture Him. He'll probably be captured and sentenced to death, so why kill him now when you can get more pleasure from hearing the sentence?

3. Knock him out, bind him, bring him before court. There are no death sentences in the US.

Well, not in most of the states. I feel proud to say that we don't kill people if they commit grand larceny! We only kill them if they download more than 4 songs illegally...

Better make sure they're shipped off to texas then, they have a nasty record

Alright, new dilemma.


You are the owner of a hospital and you have been allowed to use coma patients with no way of recovery for science. Your hospital has 5 coma patients that cant feel, hear or do anything at all (they're pretty much dead, it's just that some of their systems works good enough to keep them from dying completely) and they have no way of recovery (0%) . It is estimated that resarch on them will save 500 lives. What would you do?

Well, if the research protocol is approved by the FDA and the CDC board, then I would say: why not? I mean, experimental drug treatment more radical than this is always used in practice in the United States.

There's a terrorist on an airplane, he's got a laptop connected to all airplanes in the country and is threatening with crashing them. You could make the plane crash but that would mean giving wrong instructions to the pilot of the plane and all the 300 people on the plane would die too. What do you do?

We have a game like this... but I gave people free choice in it.. revive the scenario game. Anyone can put a scenario in it now.. I've been out of inspiration for it.

Well, they have the same free choices here, and anyone can put a scenario in here too. I dont see the difference

Well, we basically have 2 games that are the same, so one should be locked.. or something to that nature.

I would commit suicide so no one could blame me, and I would die anyway, possibly slower. Crawling away with a razor sharp piece of plastic the sliced through the sac of your stomach, a whit hot chunk of metal that slowly burns at your legs. Pitifully dragging yourself along, over the blood stained mud with barely surviving insects fighting over your organs...
