well, come up with the story essentially, give out missions, do all the organization, keep up on the mission log(summary) things of that nature

Julius had just completed testing of the XP-250 Fjopingouin, and it wasn't pretty.

''Darn it, I need some new parts for this baby. The ones I put in 10 years ago aren't doing so well.'' said Julius.

''Well,'' said a young cadet, "You could try to use some of the spare F-302 parts."

"Out of the question!" said Matzko. "Those parts will only decrease the performance of the Fjopingouin!"

"So? Why not give it a try?" said the cadet, as he walked away.

Julius considered the words of the cadet. "Meh. Won't hurt to try."

To start with, Julius replaced the original jet engines with a prototype liquid naqahdah fuel scramjet engine. He also removed the original polycarbonate armor, and replaced it with a refined Trinium armor plating, along with replacing the original power source with a spare Ancient ZPM, allowing the XP-250 to have a light shielding system. He finally ended it by replacing the AGM-100 missiles with 8 naqahdriah enhanced Prototype ACD-1 seeker drone missiles.

"There." He said. "Now I can take this thing out and test it."

Julius, with permission, flew the XP-250 out of the hangar. Almost instantly, he began to pull off miraculous stunts in his fighter. After several hours, he landed in the hangar again, only to see several cloaked figures apparently waiting for him.

"Too bad I haven't installed any guns..." said Julius, as he raised the cockpit, and exited the fighter.

Don't say that!!! So far no one has been revived from cryostatis... Only frogs can technically kill themselves and revive themselves on a yearly basis.

Psycho walked into the briefing room with General Landry.
"Don't bother sitting down General" Landry said
"What?your the General.I'm a Captain."
"Past tense.You were a Captain.I Brought you hear to inform you of your immediate promotion to general in light of your success in stopping an alien invasion."
"..."
"A little surprised?The Joint Chiefs thought you did an astounding job.Along with Nomad and Prophet."
"What has happened to them?"
"Nomad got promoted to General as well, and Prophet..well we aren't quite sure what happened to Prophet."
"So I'm General...Nice"
"Good luck son.This position is hard.And you already have your first assignment here."
Landry gave Psycho a clipboard and left the room.On it was the details for a new mission.
"SGs 1 and 5 to the Briefing room" Announced Landry over the Intercom.

SG-1 and SG-5 enter the briefing room.

"So," said Julius. "What's our mission?"

"Ei, ei, ei!" Said I "I'm the guy who makes that question! So, what's our mission... Is there anyone bidding for getting their ships blown up or what?"

I'm willing to have my XP-250 blown up!!!

"Except you wont be flying one.The mission is about some Ori remnants, apparently some who still believe in the Ori even though they were killed.According to this, they captured a village and are beginning to capture others, killing any to resist.Our mission is to locate and evacuate the villagers and kill the remnants.Any Questions?No?Good.Gear up, I'll meet you in the gateroom."
Psycho walked out of the room, leaving SGs 1 and 5 a bit dumbfounded.

"Let's see... How can I contribute in a positive way? Well..."

Julius is dumbfounded on why he isn't allowed to fly his XP-250. "If you read books on stuff such as the Vietnam War, you would see that we have a great need for aerial ground attack." he said. "Allow me to explain..."

Everyone is gone when Julius completes his long talk on air superiority, something he has done for a long time.
