Parallel Paradoxes Theme Music
Well, this will be the theme music more or less for my short film things. It may still get some tweaks and a voiceover narration, and the them will now be going under the storyboard process, so that it will have video with it!

it's got a sort of freaky x-filesish sound, suitable for this type of thing
Re: Parallel Paradoxes Theme Music

well, the first episode was intended to be filmed a week ago, but a major sotrm hit, and i got sick, so once it gets filmed, it will probably be abot two-three weeks after that

not certain yet, i only just finished the music. it'll be more of a twilight zone style narration though
Re: Parallel Paradoxes Theme Music
Nice! It sounds like a Stargate thing, but I think that's a good thing! Very mysterious and inviting to the senses. Makes one want to see what's hidden in the shadows of the storyline, yet fear what lies within it...
Heh, I almost always take theme music and tell what I literally think about it when I hear it. I find it helps those making their own films so they can tell if it fits parallel to their plot, instead of discouraging them because someone decides to come up and say either 'i like it' or 'i dislike it'... Rather useless comments that either actually do encourage (and are thus actually useful), or further discourage the film-maker.
I prefer to be a helper!

Re: Parallel Paradoxes Theme Music
Hmm, that makes it more difficult to pick. Both of them have eerie mysterious properties to them... But you're right, one has more energy than the other. I say go with whatever you think will work well... If there's lots of action, then the energetic one would be best. But if mystery and suspense outweighs the action, go for that second one!
And thanks! I like to write a lot, so narration is kinda second nature XP

Ah, I wouldn't mind! I'm trying to focus a lot of attention on my writing anyways, and one more small project won't hurt. I'm working on writing/roleplaying in three other things, but I usually make a tidy little amount of time for each project. And I always work on them until I finish and perfect each chapter/scene.
So with the narration, I can probably work on most of it at once, though it depends on how long you want the narration to be. Whatever the case, I think I can write it

Re: Parallel Paradoxes Theme Music
well, i storyboarded the theme song, so now it's time to start doing the cg sequence. that should take several weeks, there's a lot of fx shots (over 20 to be precise) for the 40 second long song, and some of it is going to require a composition of live action and cgi. anyways, you should get to see it in a few weeks. also working on a website for parallel paradoxes, which will probably go up the same time as the theme
