if you look at the downsides though, it will cause our populations to become so aged that the dependancy ratio will be impossible to sustain.

Ever read "The Giver"?

We should do what they did!

When the old people get too old, you take them into a back room, and give them a lethal injection.

Heck, if I got to the point where I needed to live in a nursing home, just give me a pistol!

If you've ever been in one of those places, you would know what I mean.

I dont get it, why do they keep trying to make their suffering last longer? i mean, do you think it would be fun to sit on a chair all day? And the girls dont get prettier either, i'd rather die than grow to be that old. They should try to concentrate on making diseases for the normal aged people easier to cure than keeping them alive another year or two. @ dj Shocked okay...

that's what hitler did to old people, cripples and jews, except he changed it to gas for more effectivity. I want the government to allow assisted suicide(a doctor pulling the plug on a patient who has entered a coma he's never coming back from or something similar or a lethal injection for someone who got a REALLY bad disease, but only at the patients request. like writing it down.) but doing that on all the old people would be wrong, not all want to die

Well, I wasn't serious when I said that!

(But, I was serious about the pistol though.)

What I really hate about the health care system here, is how the hospitals and stuff are always getting sued!!

Example:

At the mental hospital that my dad works at, they no longer use straps on their patients that are out of control unless a doctor signs for the staff to be able to use them on specific patients.

But, since the doctors are afraid of getting sued for "unnecessary restraint", they refrain from signing for bed straps to be used!!

This puts not only the staff in danger, but mainly the patient endangers his or her OWN mortality!

GOSH!

Will these stupid people ever stop suing each other, and ruining health care?
