Who here hates the word cute being used to describe them?

I hate it when girls say to me. "awww thats soo cute that you say that" or "your realy cute"

shure it makes me feel good but come on im nearly 6 foot tall and am aparently a genius how can I possibly be cute!!

( out of ten I got 9/10 for acting cute and 7/10 for looking cute)

yea. I think us guys dont like it because it kinda is a word related to things like puppys.

What the heck is this about? 'Cute' is too often stereotyped with small people. That's not necessarily true, but I'm sure it DOES happen more to small folk than the taller...

Anyways, I don't really care if I'm called cute. In fact, I'd find it more of a turn off if I was called hot... Just imagine. The type of girl saying that about ME is not my type. I don't care if they say it about Johnny Depp or someone else, but I'd rather just be 'cute' or 'sweet'. Fact is, 'hot' men are merely physically attractive... It's the 'sweet' men (or 'cute' in some cases) that tend to have the good personalities. Though again, it depends on what kind of girl it is saying it...

I'm just called 'sweet' all the time. I've been described as being 'caring' and 'sensitive' (though I'm not really sensitive, in the sense of the word. YOU guys on the other hand... XD) I just take it as a compliment. Trust me, girls hitting on you... That's just a bad sign. That either they think 1) they can take advantage of you in any situation (as in they think you're dumber than them), or 2) they just care about your appearance. They're not looking for personality then (not often).
