KDE Or GNOME?
KDE Or Gnome?
Which is your favorite?
I like both.
(Yes!!! I get pumpkin and pecan pie!!!)
The KDE desktop environment is more familiar to me, but it has it's pros and cons.
But, the GNOME desktop environment is less familiar to me, but the GNOME desktop environment is more popular among Linux distrobutions, and that add a big support pro to it's list.
Really, it doesn't matter to me.
I just like the both.
Note: I was dual booting for a while there (LOL! I figured out how to hide the dual boot from my parents. I can show you how to do that, you know....), but Wubi started acting gay with error 15 on the grub loader.
I think some necessary files were deleted/corrupted. But, I guess that's what happens when you don't partition you hard drive,
and you instead install Wubi, and run Linux Ubuntu inside of gay windows.

Yes, LOL!
Oh, and it's good you didn't use the word ignorant.
I knew that Wubi was very glitchy before I installed it.
I just wanted to get the feel of the Ubuntu environment, without using a live disk. (Live disks suck!!!!!)
@ Darkwing
Ah, sure.

Suite yourself!
My pie is better. LOL!

Re: KDE Or Gnome?
well, i had ubuntu for a while. i could run desktops with vista-like looks but awesome performance, without glitches and crashes, on a PC that had a hard time running 2000!
shows the uberness of Linux once again.
