what sucks about this game is that most of the ships are human and there is only 3 ships for all the other races exept klingon which has 5 so basicly everyone like to be earth empire or non aligned

wait a minute you guy. you can start as the borg, dominion or cardasiian gul. it's an easter egg feature in the race selection menu

when you go to the race selection menu, hit tab several times until you get funny yellow boxes in random parts of the screen. you'll probably have to zoom in, then move your mouse over the area until you get the pointer fingure, then click, and voila, easter egg race! i think the borg one is in the lower left corner, but i'm not certain

alll the races give you their flag when you start with them except as a non alligned you get random ones but mostly the human
