It depends of the developer criterium. For example, in 0.1, ship sprites and descriptions are defined (I used to use that creterium), 0.2, start to edit planets and add some ships, etc, etc, etc.

Now, I use the same order as raffitz does (I'm like the Japoneses, always imitating the good stuff), which, from change to change, we add a number in front of beta (ex: beta 1,2,3,4,etc), but the releases are more separated than the other way.

i believe alpha version 2 was where i was at, but alpha 3 will be ready shortly
