Yes, i've known about this for quite a while now. Oh, and the U.S. has already done something about it too.

They created Cyber Command. It's the newest division of the Air Force. See:

See, the thing is that you fail to recognize that there are different kinds of hackers.

1. Black Hats

A black hat hacker is someone who subverts computer security without authorization or who uses technology (usually a computer or the Internet) for terrorism, vandalism (malicious destruction), credit card fraud, identity theft, intellectual property theft, or many other types of crime. 2. White Hats

Alot of grey hat hackers have a cause behind their crimes. For example, if someone were to hack into Vex Xiang because of all of it's evil members, they could be considered a grey hat.
Grey hats make up most of the hacker population.

4. Blue Hats

A blue hat hacker is someone outside computer security consulting firms that are used to bug test a system prior to its launch, looking for exploits so they can be closed. (GOOD HACKERS! Holy holy holy!)

5. Cyberterrorist Hackers

They just want to watch the world burn. Most of the time, these people that create viruses, and all of that nasty stuff.

6. Script kiddie

People that just use programs to hack into stuff. (LOSERS!)

Yeah, but Derek is completely good. I was going to call myself Dark Derek, but that didn't sound very scfi-ish. So, I went with Darkjedi.

Note:

I can't really say what kinda of hacker I am. Sometimes i'm a grey hat, sometimes I'm a white hat. So, I guess, overall, i'm a grey hat. Ha! I'm a light grey hat! That's it! LOL!
