okay, I have a few questions about bm...

1. where can I find the .fla file from BM2?

2. where is the script for the controls (pres key > start function) located? I have searched everywhere' but I can't find it.

3. at the plugin files, with the ships, what are the numbers exactly? you get like this:
teamrunner Class;A small cruiser with excellent torpedo capability.;4;4;200;250;250;50;10;18000;1;15;15;
but what are the numbers exactly? I know the last three are the weapons, (1 is phaser, 15 is photon tp)but what about the rest?

4. how does the game read the plugin files? what script is used?

(ok, I know this is a lot at once.)

You need to look at the plugin guide at vexiang for the altering of stats. It tells you all you need to know in that respect.

2. script for controls (i'm assuming player controls, turn, warp etc) all in the player symbol. open it up, click on the shiptypes symbol on the stage, open your actionscript panel and voila!

3. plugins, let's see if i get this right (i'm doing this by memory, so it may not be 100% right)

oh, i forgot this

4. dynamic text field believ it or not. in the game scene, on frame 1 of the actions layer, it somewhere says load plugin variables or something like that. it's been a while since i used the plugin code in that way, but that's how it reads it.

well, the plugin variables are all over the game. for instance, the planet one is in the game scene, and the stations one is in the preloader screen.

well, the code that makes functions activate when you pres a key... like spacebar for firing weapon 1...

EDIT: yeah I know the texts behind the preloader screen, but how does the thing interpret them?
