i have heard of it...was it about an alien invasion of some kind?

in a way. an alien police officer if you will, comes to earth with the warning that if we don't clean up our act (meaning war and etc) then we will be destroyed by the interplanetary police. a very fascinating movie. there's not a lot of action in it, but it is well thought out and really quite a terrific movie

cool.so are they doing a remake?

Keanu reeves stars as the alien, and it's due to be release on december 12 (here that is)
