Ok, here's where my paranoid thinking has gotten me to:

Is it coincidence that this event will occur in the year 2012? I think not, let's do a little research.

For centuries, people, religions, groups, have predicted all on their own, with no realization that the other is doing this, that a major event will occur in the year of 2012. Some say that it will be the end of the world, some say it is when Christ will return etc. I don't believ that, because if you study the Bible, you will learn that the end of the world is not known to man, but only to god. With this being said, I do believ a major event will occur in the year 2012. The collapse of the internet may not be that event, but may be a catalyst. Think about it. If the internet were to collapse, there would be a public outcry, not just here in north america, but all over the world. Riots would most likely occur, as people would now feel constricted, and that the media is completed in its manipulation of the world (which may be true if this happens). I don't think that the world will end, but it very well might just collapse.

the world wont end if i can help it!and anyway that is true.if they took it away, there will be the largest amount of riots in the history of man!it may even cause a huge oppression to be innacted and possibly even cause WW3.besides, id still have mine, they wouldnt dream of taking it away from the army.if they did, the world would quikly come under a millitrialistic rule.

what would happen is eventually bell and etc would collapse, becasue think about this: the sites they'd offer would be sites like google etc. where do they make their money, ads of course. if bell only permits cetain websites, nobody would pay to have ads on google, because with rising gas prices etc. therefore, sites like google would eventually collapse, causing the complete and utter destruction of the net, therefore bell and co would lose all of the money they make from the internet period, and would be reliant solely on tv/telephone. and another note, what about the freedom to speech and publication, doesn't this turn of events prohibit that?
