Opera. Definitely. It's very fast and nobody really hacks it.

That's because people are -insert curse word here-'s that don't know what the heck they are doing. Just look at the US military- still use obsolete M-16s. Anyways, I bet you haven't even tried Opera.

firefox is second best though

opera is actually top of the line for browser, even though I don't really use it. But anything cool you might see on Firefox or IE, I bet you Opera was already doing it first.

example: the tabs you use on IE 7 and firefox, opera was first to do it.

so what if opra did it first the others will (try) to do it better and anyway do the others have antiphishing filters?

I don't use antiphishing fliters... just lags you down

absolutely not! it has the least options off all. I use FF because withouth addons it's the fasted, particularly on bad internet connections

I believe it's definitely Firefox, because I downloaded IE7, (I didn't know about the existance of Opera) And everytime i loaded a site, a box appeared saying something, and it was really annoying... Then I downloaded Firefox, and i liked it! After a while,i downloaded Opera just for curiosity, and my opinion is that it's a more professional browser, not something I require... It's difficult to manage, the Tab system is a little bit more complicated that in IE7 and Firefox. I prefer Firefox!

Yeah, I sometimes find Opera to be a little... lacking for stuff like forums. Firefox is much better in my opinion.

What would be great was a LCARS browser... There's already one, but it's shareware and you need to pay before it works decently... LCARS is cool!

yea that would be cool but it would have to have tabs to be worht it.

Well, today, my firefox wouldn't open, so i was forced to use opera... I don't know why, but then i found out that it didn't work through the Quick Launch tool bar, but it worked through the link in my desktop...Weird...

Anyways, in terms of browsing speed and security, Opera is the best. I use Firefox because I find Opera to be overly complex.

What I don't understand is why people use IE. I mean, you're purposely trading off security and browsing speed to fit in with the crowd of Microsoft-thumpers. Then again, it's the same thing with Windows+Macs and Linux... Linux is clearly the best, but everyone uses Windows mostly. Oh well, just goes to show that people will just go along with the crowd instead of going with the absolute best choice.

I love Linux, but i use windows because of a single word: COMPATIBILITY
But that word hasn't a meaning in the browser world, so, "Firefox, I choose you!" (Pokémon)

Yes. Wine sucks. So I choose PC over Mac because I know how to use it. I choose Firefox because it's the middle of the road in terms of speed and security.

IE 7 can get a spell checker im just downloadin it now.

I've just tried IE 7 now and it's good. It's got the experience of the other versions to help it.
