It's the treaty that the EU is trying to pass that means we lose a lot of stuff. If Ireland hadn't voted "No", then there would have been:
-An EU president
-An EU secretary of state officialy more powerful than national foreign secretaries
-Losses of about 40 vetoes
And that's only part of it.
