Because while I do support gay rights to an extent, I don't approve of gay marriage. I don't approve of abortion. I only support limited gun control. I do want socialized healthcare, but I do also want a privatized option for better quality healthcare. I support our involvement in the Middle East if it benefits us (oil.) I support capital punishment and waterboarding of suspected terrorists. Most importantly, I oppose the bio-fuel-only bandwagon.
