have the ships ever been done with flash in any of the previous flash treks? cuz I was thinking that it might make be more customizable for the ships and maybe better damage looks and weapons could fire from actual spots on the ship instead of from the middle.

So anyone that knows flash better than me, let me know if this is a good idea or not.

I only really now computer graphics and not so much of the programing of flash.

Well, the biggest deal is how good something looks, that's why we use photoshop. It doesn't really make the ships more customizable, it's just a matter of setting it up.

are these ship going to be based off of source? above 2D designs shouldn't be too bad.

have you ever played master of Orion 2? it would be cool to base it off of that but that might be too complex.

but should there be only parts designed thus you could have saucer A hull G and engines Z

and maybe different parts give you more or less weapon slots.

in bm 2, the galaxy saucer does separate. i'm going to try to make the game do as much as I can, though. The big thing that can't really be changed is the phaser origin. The weapons have to come from the middle because of targets in the symbols. Each ship is different in size and shape, so you can't really change where the phasers come from.

what would be nice is add a few secret ships. like a planet destroying station that costs 1000000 lat. it can be deployed anywhere you want and it fires a superlaser (dont make me remind you of aldaraan) witch destroys the planet, but it blasts out so much shrapnel, that you have to be out of the system in 30 seconds after the explosion. of course it can be destroyed (500 shields and hull) but it has to be with a weapon of the races own. you can only have one of these at a time,but theres an uber one that costs twice as much latnium and costs a bit of duranium too... this one can turn a planet into a ohh i dunno, how about a parking/shipyard type planet?

well, maybe we could incorporate those as hidden ships or something. stewi, feel like creating xindi sprites? there was never a real top on shot during the series, so you might have to take a guess by looking at the different angles

Great idea! why not put that in the "Conquest" section of the menu? Very Happy and you can bomb planets but you have to bomb them enough to eradicate the pop like in DS9? and having suns that you can destroy like in DS9 when the destroyed the Dyson Sphere? and real traffic.
If i buy a three engined Enterprise,Anyone else should! and a few ships that Vex and dondon left out. like bioships and borg stuff and more stations.

If you buy x amount of Suluban ships you can make a Sulban hive base. You can make "wings" or "fleets" of ships to do only one thing like attack a starbase of escort other ships. When you make alliances you can do joint attacks. For example if you are allied with the Romulans and the Earth Empire, you can do a planned Romulan-EE-You attack on the Dominion. The ability to refit ships and give the Constitution class and the other older classes weapons.
