Cheating

Ok, here's a potentially fun one for you. Say you're at the end of your relationship and you pretty much know it too. All you do is fight with your partner and your partner doesn't see you for who you are and all that. So you meet someone else (intentionally or accidentally, is kinda irrelevant) and then you two start going out, having sex whatever behind your current partners back. Is this acceptable do you think? You are gonna break it off with your current partner soon anyways.

I personally would say break it off before seeing someone new, but I've an old fashioned sense of morals that perhaps aren't "applicable" these days.

Thoughts?

Id break it off before seeing someone else and even then Id hold off on asking the other out for a day or two.

I think i would break it off with my current partner first.

So why do you think people don't? Uncertainty of how to directly break something off, so they indirectly break it off by seeing someone else and then one the other finds out, they break it off?

Its tough to dump someone, especially if at one time you had real feelings for them.

My guess is one of two things:

1. Fear of hurting the current partner (pretty much Leach's point).

OR

2. Desire to hurt the current partner.

And in many cases that Ive seen, its usually the latter.

Well in that case, I'd break it off first, but not out of respect to the old girl. Since you are most definately going to break it off and it seems like you resent eachother, I'd break it off because I wouldn't wanna let the new girl know I already have a girlfriend and look bad to her.

I've always had gaps between relationships, but I don't think I would do such a thing. Plus, the truth would surely out eventually.

Break it off first. If it is originally your partner who is the reason that your not getting along it gives them a defense and even if it's you it would be helping there cause. Yeah break it off.

I believe in polygamy. If one of my loves doesn't believe in such a setup then she doesn't have to know about it.

I don't believe in Polygamy, so I wouldn't do that... Besides it is a matter of respect...

And also any relationship has hardships... They just test how strong is the relation... If I began something with someone, there should be a reason...
