Pent-Up Emotions Empty Pent-Up Emotions

I dont know why or how these emotions got into me but I need to let them out. I think the canceling of Earth-Link Zero did more of a number on me than I thought. I thought I felt like shit when the announcement was made to cancel it, now it seems it's been steadily getting worse. Im starting to miss the days in my life when I was a kid. I was kind, selfless, carefree, easy going, and I still feel I am, but to a lesser degree. I didn't have to worry. I didnt have to worry about girls, or money, or the damned project, or any of life getting in my way. I was such a gentle soul. I'm starting to feel colder, and perhaps darker with each passing day. And I don't like it. But it's happening anyway.

I'm willing to bet many people here are feeling the same, or similar. Wishing the days they were kids would come back to them. Wishing to simply have to worry about what lego piece goes where, or what video game to play on the Playstation, or whether its Peanut Butter and Jelly or mini-pizzas for lunch, or what times in class to take a nap so the teacher doesnt notice, or what to do or who to play with during recess. I miss these days far too much. Im sure some people here do too.

Damn, Im sorry I sound like a whiny 5-year-old.

Except the wanting to go back to when you were a kid, that's going to happen in the future when you have a real job, and real responsibilities.

due note he didn't start thinking/saying this until after I said to him "I don't want to grow up Toa". So that brings me back to "he hangs around me too much"
