Uh oh...IP blacklisted

For some reason, I have been flagged up as having been infected by a Rustock trojan, making me an unwitting email spambot. I will let you know how things go.

That was your ISP that blacklisted your IP, right?

If it was, just call them and tell them to verify your pc in case of need... If you already cleared it out, just explain the situation...

Actually, it was a blocklist group who did that, informing my ISP to do so.

I've asked the group to take the IP off their list. If I succeeded in clearing it then I won't hear any more. If I failed, then I'll probably know by tomorrow afternoon.

I don't know how my dad got it on his computer...and because of sharing internet we both are clobbered.

No news is good news. So far, not back on the list.
