Civilization 4 Review

Coming the 25th of January 2010

*Snort* AAAAAAAH, That's the stuff...

So, now that i've snorted my hourly dose of Civ 4 , on to the review.

Let's start with some history. The first civ game was released all the way back in 1991 and was a gigantic succes. In fact, it was so popular that retail copies of Civ are still being sold in some stores, which is quite amazing considering that it's 19 years old by the time i finish this review.

So, seeing the huge mountain of pure 100% refined gold the first Civ game brought him, sid decides to make more of them and use Civ as a kind of template for future non Civ 4x games.

The results were the Colonization series and Alpha centauri, both quite freaking awesome. But we'll come back to that later. Or not at all. Depends on how lazy i'm feeling.

This review has been put on hold indefinitely. Too much important schoolwork, too little time. So... Everyone who was waiting for this review (all 0 of you) will have to wait a little longer. Or not at all.. Depends on wether nothingness can wait...

Here's my review of it:

Civ 4

I never heard of this game before and don't know what it's about. First of all, the graphics plain up and suck, an elephant could've done a better job. The plotline is cliche and iffy at best, I felt like I was reading a Thomas the Train book for kids. Gameplay was quite cool as I fell asleep part way through so it made it much better. Overall, this game sucks, and therefore, I give it an 8/10
