well, i've been working on it for several days sporatically, and the renders only take about 3 min for a single frame at that resolution

Really? Id wager it takes about only a few seconds with my program. Nevertheless, I love it!

PS I have Episode 1 completed. Script-wise, anyways. I just sent it to you.

well, that shot actually has several render choking effects in it, one is a very big and detailed lens flare, two is a very large volumetric/particle effect, three it has to render the glows and the plugin textures for the ent.

Hm...well maybe its a matter of hardware, because as I said, MAX could probably render something like that in a few seconds on my PC.

you obviously have no comprehension of 3d animation, and toa, from what i've read, am is one of the fastest rendering programs on the public market, so unless you have a super computer,i doubt you could render that in under 1.5 min tops

M has a point. I think you need a better computer, DW.

um, i actually have a pretty half decent computer. 3GB ram, 500GB harddrive, whatever the standard processor rate is what is it like 2.7GHZ or something like that, the memory card isn't too good though at 128MB NVIDIA Geforce 61something or other.

In that case, I must have a super computer. Yay!

Hm, I still have Windows XP. But eh.
