well to be honest I am slightly curious about how people feel about there countries anthems I know that when I sing it I feel a great sense of pride in my nations anthem but in my opinion its not sung enough. we sang it at church for global prayer day and I was surprised at how many people didn't know at least some of the words. I doubt you have heard it though but I also want to know if you agree that the New Zealand anthem should not be changed.
also post your anthem here.

new zealand anthem:

God of Nations at Thy feet,
In the bonds of love we meet,
Hear our voices, we entreat,
God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific's triple star
From the shafts of strife and war,
Make her praises heard afar,
God defend New Zealand.
Men of every creed and race,
Gather here before Thy face,
Asking Thee to bless this place,
God defend our free land.
From dissension, envy, hate,
And corruption guard our state,
Make our country good and great,
God defend New Zealand.
Peace, not war, shall be our boast,
But, should foes assail our coast,
Make us then a mighty host,
God defend our free land.
Lord of battles in Thy might,
Put our enemies to flight,
Let our cause be just and right,
God defend New Zealand.
Let our love for Thee increase,
May Thy blessings never cease,
Give us plenty, give us peace,
God defend our free land.
From dishonour and from shame,
Guard our country's spotless name,
Crown her with immortal fame,
God defend New Zealand.
May our mountains ever be
Freedom's ramparts on the sea,
Make us faithful unto Thee,
God defend our free land.
Guide her in the nations' van,
Preaching love and truth to man,
Working out Thy glorious plan,
God defend New Zealand.

maori (only first verse or what ever you call it)

E Ihowā Atua,
O ngā iwi mātou rā
Āta whakarangona;
Me aroha noa
Kia hua ko te pai;
Kia tau tō atawhai;
Manaakitia mai
Aotearoa
Ōna mano tāngata
Kiri whero, kiri mā,
Iwi Māori, Pākehā,
Rūpeke katoa,
Nei ka tono ko ngā hē
Māu e whakaahu kē,
Kia ora mārire
Aotearoa

English version

Original verses:

1
You ancient, you free, you mountainous North
You quiet, you joyful beauty!
I greet you, most beautiful land upon earth,
/:Your sun, Your sky, Your meadows green.:/
2
You throne upon memories of great olden days,
When honored your name flew over the world,
I know that you are and will be as you were,
/: Yes, I want to live I want to die in the North :/ Additional verses:
3
I forever will serve my beloved country,
your faith until death I want to swear,
Your right will I protect with mind and with hand,
/:your banner, full of feats, carry high.:/
4
Along God shall I struggle (fight), for home and for hearth,
for Sweden, the dear fosterland.
I trade You not, for anything in the world
/: No, I want to live I want to die in the North.:/

We rarely sing it, but we will be singing it on friday. It's the day before sweden's national day (or whatever it's called, it's when stockholm was liberated from the danish)

also here's the music
