Really? Who gives a dam? I don't see the big deal about necroing. If someone as something new to give, let them. If they don't know that it is old, let them be embarrassed. Does necroing really hurt? It might be annoying but is it annoying enough to ban?

But ya i agree necro is ok, only trouble is when someone adds something which only matters if the topic was still active, but it wouldn't be, so that would lead to a few problems. But otherwise Necro is ok.[/url]

You see, threads usually die when no more useful stuff can be added to them. That being said, 99.99% of all necros are useless and thus is why we frown upon necroing. We're not going to make exceptions for that 0.01% unless it really contributes to a thread and opens new avenues of discussion not thought about when the thread was active.

Progressive? Only progressive I care about is Dream Theater and Rush.

A: Have not read the rules
B: Have been warned repeatedly to read the rules and yet still refuse to do so
C: Are illiterate spammers that systematically destroy the English language

All three are undesirables.

this is my rules that i always say, if it contributes to the original topic in a new and productive way, then you can necro, i don't mind, but don't go finding year old topics just to necro them with useful new stuff

But in the general chat, you can't post in something that's more than, what was it? a week old?
