how did you start watching trek/wars

how did you start watching star trek or star wars?
my dad got me into trek when i was little, he'd VOY dvds bring em home and id watch them with him and i thought hey this is cool and so i became a trekkie... star wars im not sure how, tv i think...

trek: im actually not sure how, i just saw 1 or 2 episodes on tv and thought they were cool, and there ya go.

wars: ROTS was coming out and everyone in my grade was talking about it so i watched the movies, and thought they were super awesome.

i remember this guy in my class he couldn't stop goin on about for 3 months

there were about 5 of those in my class.

it's died down by now no surprises that the clone wars movie didnt stir that much, not here anyway...

yeah, it didnt here either.

in one the reveiws someone said the character looked like pinochio

I started watching Trek after I saw one episode on TV (I think it was Mirror Mirror).
I started watching wars when I saw episode 4 on TV.

I started watching trek After randomly putting on a VOY episode.
as for SW, I saw the first movie.

When I was 3 years old I got a toy USS Enterprise-D for easter, and I carried it everywhere I went, even to bed! LOL! Thats how I got into Trek.

As for SW, I dont remember.

My grandfather was a huge Star Trek fan. He introduced me to it. He had the entire original series on VHS. Neither of my parents are that partial to it. I guess it skipped a generation.

I don't think I ever asked my Grandad if he watched Trek.

I got into star wars when I was very little.

My uncle got me onto it, and explained things.

After that, it was just mostly a family tradition. LOL

As for Star Trek, it's the same.

I left out Star Wars. Believe it or not, it was Lego. I was a real Lego fanatic when I was younger, and had a bunch of the Wars sets before I even saw any of the movies.

I watched ST VOY episodes on tv for a while but I didnt get into it until I went on CBS.com and watched TOS episodes... about a year later and I watched every episode and movie, even a couple of computer games.

As for star wars, I watched the movies and Im not too crazy about them. The only thing I like thats Star Wars is SW Battlefront 2 for xbox. It was fun about 5 years ago...

well i believe i watched voyager episodes and enterprise episodes but after that went away i kinda forgot about ST. Then for some reason i watched a TNG episode one day and i have liked continuously even since.

For some reason the TOS episodes are the only episodes that hook people on Star Trek

It started with Star Trek The next generation. My dad was watching a good episode and i started to like it.
